About
Aline d’Auria (Lugano, Switzerland, 1982) is an artist and designer who lives and works in Chiasso, Switzerland. After earning her first degrees from the Ecole d’Arts Visuels in Vevey and at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, she also received a degree as a Designer, specialized in video, from the Haute Ecole d’Arts et Design in Geneva. Since 2009 she has been part of the Swiss association for contemporary photography near, and in 2015 she co-founded the cultural association Grande Velocità, headquartered at Spazio Lampo in Chiasso, where she collaborated as a curator.
Her artistic research is dedicated to the most fleeting sentiments of the human soul, revealing them in an undertone, delicately and respectfully. Places become an emotional mirror of a humanity from which Aline d’Auria tries to harness the most intimate thoughts, while at the same time seeking to avoid violating them.

Co-founder of the cultural association Grande Velocità and the coworking space Spazio Lampo based in Chiasso (CH). Co-curator for the Vetrina Project, the annual cultural programmation of the cultural space 2015 – 2021.
Founder and developer of the concept Your City vs New York.
