“We are all going home, The Trip” accompanies several individuals on their journey between Chiasso and their home country. The protagonists and the landscape they traverse are filmed in constant motion, a “no man’s land” that belongs only to the journey.
People and landscapes are related in constant motion. The places of here and elsewhere blur until they merge into unrecognizability. The idea of a continuous video represents and leads the viewer to identify with these dual aspects of migration and the experiences of building or rejecting a new belonging.
