Namaste Saipu (Hello, Goodbye Saipu)
A film by Aline d’Auria

“Namaste Saipu” follows Swiss Italian primary school teacher, Laura Poretti, during her last few days in Saipu, a small village south east of Nepal’s capital Kathmandu.
After five months of working as an advisor in a Nepalese school, Laura has to say good-bye, not only to the country, but to her host Aama, with whom she has formed a special bond.
The final moments approach, and the two women know that nothing will ever be the same again.
