Until 1970, the “Gaswerkareal” was a production site for gas for the city of Berne. Today, this sprawling space composed of various structures and contaminated areas lies abandoned. In 2017 the architect forum of Berne (Architektforum-Bern) invited seven young, Swiss architects to reflect on a possible future for the area and unused buildings.

This film documents the final 24h of the project, where the architects introduce a curious public to their different ideas.
